The CanPAK
TM package (DirecFET® technology
1) has a uniquely simple construction and provides breakthroughs in die-free package resistance, parasitic
package inductivity and dissipation capabilities. Compared to standard plastic discrete packages CanPAK
TM metal can construction enables dual-sided cooling to effectively increase the efficiency and current carrying capability of the device in a given footprint. The CanPAK
TM is compatible with today’s high volume manufacturing processes. There is an initial portfolio of four 30 V OptiMOS
TM2 products in two can sizes available (1.9mΩ , 5.3mΩ , 8.3mΩ ). Further OptiMOS
TM products in 25 V, 30 V and 100 V are in development.
